12-Year Old Student invents a working Braille Printer with LEGO pieces

In California, a seventh grade in Santa Clara name Shubham Banerjee invented a Braille printer through the use of LEGO pieces from a LEGO Mindstorms EV3 set.  He calles the printer Braigo, which is short for Braille with LEGO.  According to Banerjee, this printer can help blind or disadvantaged people across the globe, and if that is the case, then this could be one of the best inventions in the world. The LEGO Mindstorms EV3 set was $349, and he added $5 of other parts to the printer, which places the price of the printer right around $350.  Most other Braille printers cost around $2,000, so Braigo is a much more affordable printer, which, in this economy, is great news for blind people who wish to own a printer that they can use without help from people who can see.
